Terms of Service

These terms govern use of DocuCue, a business-focused certificate and licence tracking service.

Last updated: 19 September 2026

1. The service

DocuCue helps businesses organise workers, certificates and licences, store supporting documents, review AI-assisted extracted details, track expiry dates and manage reminders.

DocuCue is a management and reminder tool. It does not certify that a worker is qualified, that a document is genuine, or that a customer is compliant with any particular legal, regulatory or industry requirement.

2. Accounts and customer responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, providing accurate account and organisation information, and ensuring that people who access your workspace are authorised to do so.

Customers remain responsible for checking certificate details, expiry dates, worker records and compliance requirements. AI-assisted extraction and automated reminders are support tools and should be reviewed by an appropriate person.

3. Trials and subscriptions

DocuCue may provide a free trial before paid subscription billing begins. The trial end date and first billing date shown in the service or Stripe checkout apply to that subscription.

Paid plans renew monthly unless cancelled. The selected plan, monthly price, worker limit and applicable billing information are shown before subscription confirmation. Current plan information is also available inside DocuCue.

4. Billing and payments

Subscription payments are processed securely by Stripe. DocuCue does not store full payment-card details in its own database.

By starting a paid subscription, you authorise the applicable recurring monthly charge until the subscription is cancelled. Taxes or other mandatory charges may apply where required.

5. Plan changes

Upgrades may take effect immediately. Where Stripe calculates a prorated amount, the higher worker limit is activated only after the required payment succeeds.

Downgrades may be scheduled to take effect at the end of the current billing period. A downgrade can require the number of workers in the workspace to fit within the lower plan's worker limit before it can be scheduled.

6. Cancellation and refunds

A subscription can be cancelled through the billing controls provided in DocuCue and Stripe. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless the service states otherwise, access continues through the end of the applicable trial or paid billing period.

Subscription fees are generally not refundable once charged, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where DocuCue confirms a billing error. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact support promptly so it can be reviewed.

7. Uploaded content

You retain responsibility for documents and information uploaded to your workspace. You must have the right or lawful basis to upload and use that material in DocuCue.

You grant DocuCue permission to process uploaded information only as needed to provide, secure and support the service, subject to the Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or availability, upload unlawful material, introduce malicious code, or use DocuCue in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep DocuCue available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free service cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, security work, provider outages or product updates can temporarily affect availability.

Features, limits and pricing may change as the service develops. Material subscription changes will be communicated where reasonably required.

10. Privacy

Information about how DocuCue handles personal data is available in the Privacy Policy.

11. Contact and support

Questions about these terms, billing or the service can be sent to docunudgeapp@outlook.com, or through the Support page.
